Portugal - Exhibition
During the 23rd to the 27th of November at our Middle shool there was an exhibition of all the puppets made with recycling material within our Johnny's Seven Friends project. This project involved 28 teachers and several classes and schools ranging from kindergarten to Middle school. Some of the schools are located in the main town but others are in small villages near by. There are about 60 lovely puppets. In the middle school the puppets were made by the students as they are older while in kindergarten and primary schools teachers and parents helped the young children make the puppets. All the students enjoyed themselves and had great fun making the puppets and playing out the different plays.
There was also photo exhibition about the project meeting in Reykjavik in Iceland. Everyone within the school community had the opportunity to see Korpuskóli Primary School and learn more about Iceland.

Project Meeting in Reykjavik, Iceland
Our third Project meeting was held in Reykjavik in Iceland during the first week of November. All the partners from the different countries got together at Korpuskóli Primary school which is a lovely, modern and very comfortable school. We must congratulate all the Icelandic teachers involved in our project. They were all so very kind and had everything so well planned and organized. They made us feel so comfortable and at home. The students were also very nice and they even tried to communicate with us in English. They were just lovely and their behaviour was excellent. They played out their Johnny’s Seven Friends’ play very well with all the puppets they made. It was very interesting and we all learnt more about Iceland.
It was very interesting to learn all about the Icelandic Educational system which is quite different from Portugal.
Our project meeting was also great. We worked on the picture dictionary, Portugal presented some of their puppets and a story rug, we exchanged information and we talked about our project and future project work.

Jussike and Tiina gave interview to local TV.
Jussike and Jonukas met each other in our project box. All the other Johnnies were also with us - sitting on our suitcases. We had lot of photo materials from our project meetings. We demonstrated our puppet shows from DVD-s. We got many positive evaluations from visitors and we are very pleased to thank all our partners for the great job, what we have done together!

Souto da Casa Kindergarden and Primary School (Portugal)
Johnny is telling the children in kindergarden about his trip around Portugal. He tells the pupils who he met, what he saw (monuments, castles...),what he ate, what music he heard...
Everyone helped writing out the story after learning more about Portugal. Then the pupils played the story by themselves. They really enjoyed themselves.
